What is Heirloom Society?
A dossier-style platform for UAE-based students, built across four fields; Computing & Applied Technology, Law & Policy, Business & Commerce, and Creative Media & PR. Inside each: the insider intel, courses, mentorships, competitions, and internships worth your time. Not everything. Only what's verified.
Who is this for?
Students in Years 10 through 13, and those already at university, based in the UAE. If you know your field, the resources are here. If you don't yet, that's what Pathfinder is for.
Access
Do I need an account to browse?
No. The four sector pages, career dossiers, the Industry Journal, and general browsing are open to anyone. An account is only required for Pathfinder — our quiz that matches you to a sector.
What do i need to register?
A username, your name, an email address, a password, your sector of interest, and your current stage — Secondary, Sixth Form, Gap Year, or University.
What's the industry journal?
Where we go beyond the listings — analysis, insight, and commentary across all four fields. Importantly, how to gain an unfair advantage in your sector. Entries are still being compiled and will be unsealed soon.
The four sectors
Why these four sectors?
Computing & Applied Technology, Law & Policy, Business & Commerce, and Creative Media & PR represent the fields with the so much opportunity, and yet the least visibility, for students in the UAE.
How is each dossier compiled?
Every course, competition, mentorship, or internship listed is checked for: is it actually accessible to a UAE student? is it useful? will it help in being taken seriously in their respected fields sooner than the average?
Privacy
Is my data protected, and do you sell it?
Yes, and no. Passwords are encrypted, your data is protected via SSL throughout, and nothing is ever sold, rented, or traded. Currently there is no advertising on this platform. Full detail lives in our Privacy Policy.
Im under 18, can i still register?
Yes, most of our members are. If you're under 18, we recommend reviewing our Privacy Policy with a parent or guardian first. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.
